Description
The Panasonic CU-3U27YBZ (220-240V / 50 Hz) is a multi-split air conditioner outdoor unit. It’s the central component of a system that can connect to and operate multiple indoor units simultaneously, making it an ideal solution for cooling and heating several rooms with a single outdoor compressor.
Key Features:
- System Type: Multi-Split Air Conditioner Outdoor Unit. It is not a standalone air conditioner but must be paired with compatible Panasonic indoor units (e.g., wall-mounted, ducted, or cassette units) to create a complete system.
- Cooling Capacity: A substantial cooling capacity of 7.5 kW (or approximately 25,600 BTU/h), which is powerful enough to handle a multi-zone setup for a medium to large apartment or house.
- Number of Connectable Indoor Units: It can connect to and power up to three indoor units. The total capacity of the connected indoor units should not exceed the maximum connectable capacity of the outdoor unit.
- Technology: It is an Inverter type air conditioner, which means the compressor speed can be precisely controlled. This technology allows it to:
- Maintain a stable, comfortable temperature without frequent on/off cycles.
- Consume less energy, as it only uses the power needed to cool the space.
- Refrigerant: It uses R32 refrigerant, which is a more environmentally friendly option with a lower Global Warming Potential (GWP) compared to older refrigerants like R410A.
- Durability and Construction:
- Blue Fin Condenser: Coated with a “Blue Fin” layer to protect it from corrosion caused by salt, air, and other environmental factors.
- Copper Tube Condenser: Provides enhanced heat transfer efficiency.
- Water-Resistant PCB: The printed circuit board has a special resin coating to protect it from water damage.
- Smart Features: Many versions of this model come with Wi-Fi connectivity and are compatible with the Panasonic Comfort Cloud App. This allows users to remotely control and monitor the system from their smartphone.
- Piping: It has three sets of liquid and gas lines, one for each potential indoor unit, with a maximum pipe length that provides flexibility for installation.
